how can i be more affectionate towards my boyfriend because i kind of cant show it but want to.?

maybe its the pressure you put on yourself to show affection that is hampering your affection abilities. just relax, if you love him-he loves you + he wants it then just go for it in your own way. there is only one way to go here & thats up.

i don’t really understand what exactly you’re asking….you should just go for it, but you should remind your bf that you dont have to prove through affection that you love him; everyone is different and have different ways of expressing love. do something sweet for him!

just do little things for him like run ur fingers through his hair, kiss him on his forehead, u know stuff like that.

maybe subconsciously you dont like him….have you ever thought about that? Or is there something that happened to you in the past that keeps you from showing affection towards others? There could be a lot of things in the way. Maybe you dont feel that close to him yet? Who knows. Give it time and see if it gets better.

I was that way with a previous guy but i have no problem showing affection towards the guy i have now….

Just remind him that you find it hard to show affection and he has to understnad that you are trying. Just hold his hand more often. And actually tell him how you feel.

do you hug him? hold his hand? smile at him? laugh at/with him? does he do any of that for you? ask him what his idea of affection is.

start small.. do little things like hold his hand… ?? or do you mean bigger.? like public affection or something.

if you love him, do what it takes!!

I dont know how far you are in your relationship, but if sex is the next step, don’t hesitate, if you both think its ok, just do what feels right
