How does one become more outgoing?

Hοw dο people speak οf ѕο many things. Example: If I see someone аnd I barely know thеm, hοw саn I speak tο thеm аbουt different things. I usually wont hаνе anything tο ѕау аnd thеrе wіll bе a wierd awkward silence, οr i’ll ѕау something really ѕtrаngе.

Hοw саn I bе more outgoing?

Thanks everyone.

It’s uncomfortable to have conversations with people if you don’t know them well and are the "quiet" type. I’m the same way so I understand what you’re saying.

Just try to keep putting yourself out there. The more you do it, the less awkward it’ll feel. Additionally, try to really get to know the person – don’t think of them as someone you have to talk to, but rather, someone you want to get to know.

Or, if all else fails, you can just say what a good friend of mine from high school would say when things got awkward:

"I think we’ve exhausted all avenues of conversation, so I think I’ll let you go."

I’ve noticed that the people that aren’t very bright speak the most while the intelligent people tend to be quiet.

There are other ways to be outgoing without having to speak to people, reading, writing. Basically find ways to stimulate the mind, be outgoing on the inside.

To be more outgoing , you have to read a lot and be educated , you have to know whats going around you on this world and you have to learn about all what you see.
