if you see someone new at school or something… say hi and stuff.
they might feel the same way as you are. =]

Just go up to them and introduce yourself. Think about the introductions you have received from others. What did they say ?

Need help with something ? Compliment them about something. Make a comment about some issue at school.

Look up people you had in previous classes or other grades and reconnect with them.

Grocery stores or any store always works, ask someone for help even if you don’t need it. What have you got to lose ? You will probably never see them again so if you feel you messed up don’t worry about it. Evaluate how it went, how you felt doing it.

The more you practice the better you will become at it. Your confidence level will increase and it will soon become second nature.

Just relax and go for it.

Do as you said, just walk up and introduce yourself.
