Are your parents inclined to take you to functions where other adolescents are present? At least that would be a guided/supervised, family-oriented activity where you can gain social development. At your age, social development is crucial to your future. You need to establish and maintain skills that enable you to engage in face-to-face conversation at a comfortable level. Such development helps you to learn appropriate levels of trust, support, encouragement, problem-solving, etc.

Have you been able to discuss these limitations with your dad? Is it possible to explain to your dad that you have fears and/or concerns about arrested social development? In the meantime, be careful and conscientious about your interactions.

    Very good luck to you.

You are a minor. That’s the reason. Just wait. But always be cautious.

Be thankful your parents care. Tell your parents how you feel and discuss clubs, sports etc you’d like to join. Having reasoned arguments as to why you want more freedom will work better than confrontation. As a teenager I thought I was invincible, it took a war to chance that attitude fast.
