They’re going to stick with the fear mongering tactics (it’s what they do best), even though it didn’t scare anyone enough to kill the bill. They’ll probably try to scare people about terrorists or illegals next time.

It means that all of the people who don’t understand anything about the bill other than "32 million more customers for the insurance company" are happy.

Mommy and I pray that Obama is re-elected for second term and doubles taxes on the rich and gives us the money.

Its means people are ashamed of being associated with the republican party. Death threats, violence, threats against peoples children and grandchildren, wow thats all I have to say. People are seeing how ignorant they are and appreciating the good man we have in power.

It means they need to look into corruption in the poll numbers and what kind of sample gallup is using.

It means they’ll go back to the "polls mean nothing" meme.

Even Rasmussen has him doing better. The cons are in real trouble.

He’s still below 50% in an average of several polls.

Real Clear Politics has all the polls. It’s a better snapshot if you average all the polls out.

Anything above 50% is a positive for Democrats going into the election (the economy makes people anti-incumbant though, so they sort of cancel each other out if his approval stays above 50%).

Don’t get to excited there comrade. His approval rating will below 40 very shortly, you can bet on it.

It means they will run to Rasmussen for "fair" polling.

Even though, on the site they admit they are biased.

    "Rasmussen only polls likely voters"

Fact: only 56.8% of eligible voters voted.

The worst pre-vote poll showed 39% of americans for the house bill. But 13% who voted no were against the house bill because they thought it was not liberal enough. So if you add 39 to 13 you get 52% wanted reform, 39 were ok with the house bill and 13 wanted more. So this is not a flip flop at all, just a clarification of what the majority of Americans want. This bill has not only saved the dems but it has doomed the republican party.
